They they then see opportunity to support the comunity by starting the company (for the locals), that will provide portion of its profit from every trip to be donated to KILIDESTINATION EDUCATION FUND that will help changing life condion of many porters according to how many trips will be booked through kilidestination Adventures. Steven Choi
An avid traveler and a philanthropist
He has been working as a volunteer to organizations like Engineering Without Boarders and United Ways
prior to starting his own NGO. Since graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign and
University of Southern California, he worked at companies like Google, Northrop Grumman, and AT&T and
currently working at Uber in San Francisco. He is a huge fan of Micro finance and would love to see more
Projects like Kilidestination take off.
Steven has traveled to over 120 countries, mostly in the 3rd world countries. He always had a passion for
starting a non-profit's that gives opportunities to those who work. He sought an idea of starting a travel
company where the proceeds goes to better educating the locals. After traveling to Tanzania in 2014, he
found the opportunity to do so after connecting with the local guides and porters and excited to see the
community grow. He runs similar operations in Nepal, Tibet, and Madagascar and plans to expand further to
3 additional countries by 2020.

Jeff Froelicher
Systems Engineer at Qualcomm, San Diego, California
He graduated from Virginia Tech and the University of Southern California in Electrical Engineering. He's
grown up with a love of traveling and exploring the great outdoors, and can often be found surfing or
hiking local trails. His values of hospitality, efficiency, and equality often guide his philanthropic
efforts including serving on the board here.
Jeff is an active participant of local community gatherings in the Southern California area. His effort
continues to bring communities together through philanthropic events..

Chris Grossman
Business Analyst, amateur athlete and a seeker of adventures
Since graduating from MIT in Mechanical Engineering, Chris caught the travel bug after traveling to South
Africa for the World Cup. His favorite destinations are those that show off the beautiful natural world
like Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro Crater, Halong Bay, Iguazu Falls, and the Great Barrier Reef.
Chris participates in soccer, basketball, tennis, volleyball, and has completed 11 marathons, including
Boston, Los Angeles and Paris. It was his intense desire to test his endurance by climbing Kilimanjaro. By
contributing to this project, Chris hopes to continue the education and involvement of local Tanzanians so
that Kilimanjaro can be shared by those who know it best.
